The Need for Our Organization

Quincy House Preservation Foundation(QHPF) was started out of a need to save a local historic landmark of the Copper Country: Quincy House, completed in 1882 by the Quincy Mining Company to house its agent, or highest ranking local official. Quincy House is the last standing mining company agent's house among many mines that once exploited the area for copper and interprets the significant historical advancements made of the 19th and 20th centuries.
